Best of One, Two, and Three Diamond Awards
AAA names the "Best Of" one-, two-, and three-diamond hotels & restaurants

Each year, AAA inspectors review more than 59,000 hotels and restaurants across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean to ensure those establishments meet AAA’s quality standards. AAA’s new “Best Of” designation gives travelers another way to find great options that suit various trips and budgets.

Seven percent of AAA Diamond-rated hotels and restaurants are considered “Best Of.” These spots have overall ratings in the top 20 percent of their Diamond rating level, no member complaints in the past 12 months, and for hotels only, an “A” rating in cleanliness and condition.

AAA’s “Best Of” highlights hotels and restaurants with one, two, and three diamonds. These are the most common rating levels, accounting for 90 percent of hotels and 97 percent of restaurants with AAA Diamond ratings.

These hotels and restaurants meet AAA’s rigorous cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality standards as they are evaluated by one of AAA’s professional inspectors. These places offer travelers more casual and affordable options that can be just as charming and memorable as their more highly rated counterparts.

Luberto's Trattoria  – Dublin, Pennsylvania (One Diamond)

Restaurant 1818  – Natchez, Mississippi (Two Diamond)
AAA inspector notes: This restaurant is at the Monmouth Historic Inn, the only grand historic home in town where dinner is served in the original formal dining room. The setting is opulent, with period decor that includes ornate furnishings and fine polished silver. The chef offers an interesting menu of new Southern cuisine with artful presentations. Besides the regular a la carte dinner menu, guests also can opt for the communal chef's table experience, a five-course meal served at 6 p.m.
