Show Your Card & Save® Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a valued Automobile Club of Missouri Show Your Card & Save® participating business. AAA members are loyal consumers who appreciate value and quality. Please review the program details and requirements outlined below. If your business meets the minimum program requirements you may send a request to join our program for review.
The Show Your Card & Save® program provides AAA members with discounts on items they need and use everyday, in categories such as dining, automotive, entertainment, shopping, travel, home improvement and other services. Participating businesses are promoted year round in select member publications, direct mail, online and more.
Businesses interested in becoming a Show Your Card & Save® participating business are required to provide AAA members with an on-going discount equivalent to or better than 10% off their core product or service, for a minimum of one year. The discount must be offered to AAA members year round and may not exclude core products or services. Members will redeem the offer by showing their membership card in store or by visiting a unique AAA member landing page you may set-up.
Show Your Card & Save® participating businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Stand out as a leader in your business category: "Best in Class"
- Maintain a quality image consistent with the AAA brand
- Automobile Club of Missouri vendors must offer at least 1 location in one or more of the following states:
- Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Eastern Kansas
- Be without legal or public relations issues
- Be financially sound
- Maintain a significant market share
- Actively market your product or service
- Be in business over three years
- Commit to providing AAA members with the best on-going offer
- If your business is a franchised operation, franchisee participation must be 90% or better
Web-based e-tailers must meet the above criteria, except for store-front locations, and the following:
- Maintain a site that can complete sales and provide the discount online
- Create a Show Your Card & Save® landing page with a unique URL
- Maintain a secured socket layer (SSL) to protect transactional data
- Be able to link back to the AAA site
- Not compete with AAA or current Show Your Card & Save® discounts, or link to competitive sites
Some products and services are not eligible for consideration at this time:
- Gun and ammunition sales
- Lodging establishments that have not passed a AAA Industry Evaluations inspection or the chain restaurant quality assurance process
- Taverns, cocktail lounges, wineries and other establishments that sell alcoholic beverages as a primary business. Restaurants are encouraged to apply to be evaluated and included in the SYC&S program.
- Specific personal service providers that engage in one of more of these practices/services as their primary business are not eligible for review.
- Additional products and/or services as may be determined from time to time in the sole discretion of AAA.
If your business meets these requirements and is not listed as an excluded product/service, you may submit a request to become a Show Your Card & Save® participating business. Your request must include the following:
- Overview of your products & services
- Brief company history
- Number of store-front locations and whether or not you sell products online
- Your company's market share (approximately)
- Your target demographics
- Your proposed offer to AAA members
- Your complete contact information

AAA reserves the right to change, modify, or discontinue participant eligibility requirements at any time and without notice. Compliance with the foregoing standards does not guarantee acceptance into the Show Your Card & Save® program. Participation in the program is at the sole discretion of AAA.
